(Digg is a technology news website that combines features like RSS, Blogging, Social Networking and and non-hierarchical editorial control). What is making these sites so sought after by the Googles, Yahoos and eBays? It seems to be with the way the web 2.0 players democratize user experiences on the web. It is everywhere: Digg, MySpace, Flickr, del.icio.us, Vimeo. The more big players 'corporatize' this phenomenon, the sooner web 2.0 evolves as a mainstream.
